Look What I Got At The Mall Help!

So I parked the farthest away with no cars around me and when I came out there was this POS mini van parked right next to me and my roomate said "OH MY GOD"

The MF dinged my door bad. I filed a report with mall security and took down their license plate. I left a note on their van explaining what they did, and my name and telephone number (yeah I am betting they will call).

but I am not sure what insurance can do?? Anyone have experience with this and can this massive ding be pulled?
(see pic)

Doesn't seem that big but dangit that makes me mad too. Time to find a good bodyshop! I wouldnt mind fixing my hood and left ding.

Right in front of the Ranger wheel that dark spot that is the brunt of the ding but there is a straight line crease going up and down about an inch on either side -

This is why I charge a lot more for minivans. Those things should be banned from the roads.
Hey now!
Don't lump all mini-van owners together.:D
There are a couple of pictures of mine in my gallery and I don't think you would need to charge much extra for cleaning it up.
One thing you guys don't realize is the extreme versatility of those things. We bought our first one in 1988 and can't imagine not having one around when needed.

Now, to Groebucks problem.
A good PDR man can get rid of the dent. With any luck, you might be able to polish the scrape out. I can't tell if your paint is scuffed that badly or if it is paint from the other vehicle.
Don't give up yet.

think i would had put a ding on there vehicle lol j/k Groe i think i may be wrong but you might can call your ins.company tell them what happen. By you getting the license plate number that might help.

LOL :lmfao :lmfao :lmfao .

Seriously, just give your insurance company the info and they will take care of it.

Sorry to hear about this Groebuck. You certainly have had your share of bad luck with your car lately.

PDR can do wonders, it will take them about 20 minutes and you will never know it happened.

I had some "youngsters" shoot my car with a paintball gun a few years ago and it left a nasty ding. The PDR guy took care of it with ease. If he will let you watch do it, it is really a cool process.

Very sorry to hear about this groe. Sheez I hate dings more than anything else. Accidents happen, stone chips can't be avoided, but dings are simply a case of carelessness on someone's part that could so easily be avoided if they were only just mindful of other people's property.

Well, my ex got her door dinged in a grocery store lot. She didn't see it, but the neighbor that was with her at the time had stayed in the car as did see it. She got their license plate number. They were leaving and didn't say or do a thing except to leave. My ex called the cops and he gave the lady a call. They ended up paying for it - over 300.00.

Now I may be wrong about this, but since it's a parking lot and not the street, the cops can't really do anything to force the issue, but the cop was upset because they left the scene. What he said to them I don't know. But they did call and they did pay for it. Now my ex called the cops and he came out to the scene and their was the witness. A number of factors go into such things I imagine.

Good luck with resolving this.

If you go through your insurance, chances are you won't even hit you deductable :(
Just pay it out of your pocket.
With any luck you'll find that minivan and return the favor.;):rofl

but it still sucks that it happened.

Good luck

Woob/Groebuck,

If you want to get someone in Cary, visit the Dent Busters on Maynard. Good guys, and yes, the price should probably fall into the $50-70 range.
