Hello all,
Always lurked but haven't joined until more recently. Not a professional, don't ever plan to be, but I have a love and passion for great looking cars and the process of going from dirty and dull to clean and shinny. Was directed here by my local detailer (ivan @ Lustr) a while back and have continued to learn and read up on all the opinions and methods. Mostly clean my car, wife's car and every once in a while will take on a neighbors car to earn some beer or food as well as practice and show them what their car is supposed to look like. Plus I always find taking a car from "horrible" to great gives me the most pleasure.
Here is my current set up:
A little messy at the moment as the other side of the garage is being worked on and my other cabinets are getting put up, plus its winter. Not shown is the wall mounted pressure washer and a few other wall mounted bins (Gladiator Gear tracks with hooks, baskets, etc for throwing towels in, hanging tools and getting other items off the floor), and waiting to put my metro back up on the wall once I get everything laid out how I want. I am ( as you can tell) big into having the lay out right as it makes washing, detailing and clean up so much easier. Also I always loved the look of a clean organized garage and have been putting mine together as time goes by. Looking forward to gaining some more insight on products, processes and methods and keeping my cars looking new. My main squeeze below:
