So as per my other thread I am now onto the testing phase on my test hood. Testing waxes and sealants.

This is just the beading of them to compare. Sheeting seemed normal as well. I dont think I will update with videos but If i do ill have them on my Instagram. I will be putting the hood outside as the months get colder and really put it to the test, including washing intermittently. I will also update on this thread!

Fireball Ultimate Carnauba Wax EDIT
Carpro Reload
Sonax Polymer Net Shield

Ok I uploaded 2 videos real quick while it was raining out to show some beading. On my Instagram link in signature.

Put the 5 week update on my instagram page.

PNS is clearly in the lead.
The waxes are doing fine so far
And Reload has slight hydrophobic properties but is lacking.

PNS is as good if not better than a coating in terms of shedding anything. Its in a class of its own imo as far as self cleaning. I took it through 20 touchless commercial car washes last winter and it was never phased by it. Car looked like I just detailed it without laying a finger on it. No coating I've tried did that

I second PNS's impressive dirt shedding ability and durability (and it looks good, too). As long as the rain is such that it effectively flushes the surface of road dirt/grime, the car stays impressively clean. After a drive in moderately heavy rain today, I put the car in the garage and grabbed my leaf blower. The water beads nearly flew off of the surface on all but the lower side panels. Except on those areas, the car almost looks like it was washed. PNS is a bit draggy when applying/removing, but that additional effort is worth it. It's good stuff.
