Took a shot in the dark. Instead of trying to sell the PC and losing a bit. I emailed amazon!!
They’re going to allow me to return it or give me 20% off. Lol. I just said I wanted to upgrade. Nothing was wrong. Used twice🤷`♂️

Now I’m torn as I’ve read a couple people like the PC OVER THE GG6...either way. Lifetime warranty more power and that handle not breaking off is enough to ATLEAST make me want that....
GG6
Spend twice as much on the GG15. But
200 vs 500. But it does sound freaking awesome

WHAT TO DO!! Ahah

Nice. I love my GG15 and you can`t beat the warranty. I`m eyeing the ibrid nano but it`s hard to justify it for my circumstances right now.

Sooooo. Let’s say I do (prob will. Fack. Lol)
Can someone dumb down pad requirements. And what I need. ? Because I believe I read what I have now can’t be used..
Please. Sorry

And the g15. Is it like the g6. Comes with backing plate. Just need pads? Looking at pics hard to figure out
Thanks

And the 5.5” pads I have for the PC won’t work on g15? Not Velcro as well..

Lol!! Yeah reading about thin pads.
The hexlogic I just got in are thinner than the LC pads I have I think.
Personally don’t see why the pads wouldn’t work with the g15.

U said no velcro. As long as you have velcro, you should try them. Maybe buy 1 MF pad.and 1 thin orange or yellow pad to see the difference..

Yeah. I mean I’m a dummy but currently have Velcro so I would also assume the g15 fastens via Velcro. Definitely going to buy thin pads as well.
Far as I can tell. This is the difference... g15 pad has hole in centre?🤷`♂️ which TBH I would rather not lol

don`t hesitate to get the g6 if money is a problem. will the $400-$500 polishers run smoother with less vibration, cut through defects faster with less effort, yes, but you can still get a show car shine with the g6. the g6 comes with a 6" backing plate, but if you want it to run more efficiently, add the 5" backing plate. I use mine with the 6" plate and it still has plenty of power.

Money not so much an issue other than frivolous spending of it lol

Having said that. Screw it. Ordered the g15 !
Based on looks and ergonomics I think it will make me happier
Trigger placement.. easy access to the speed dial without having to stop and move
Better on my hands I bet as there’s a handle/grip vs the PC .. basically holding the motor the entire time the damn things on
Screw the money. What turned out to be $15 more upgrade escalated quickly!!(thanks @accumulator! Lol).

Guess I better find ways to use this more!
Maybe do some intro car detailing deals for $100. Haha

Good move, I`m 100% confident that it was the right decision for you.

Now get a gazillion pads, and consider MF ones, which are quick/easy to clean with an air comressor (you do have one, right? Like, at least a cheapie from HF or something?). Just FWIW...I simply *HATE* those HexLogic pads, and/or any others with molded recesses in `em. Those recesses retain (often dried-out) product and cut-off clear and diminish the working surface area. All bad IMO, but I guess some people like `em...

People can scoff at that, but a happy craftsman is often a better craftsman.

Exactly!

Always happy to help others spend their money :D

Keep the PC. Get some brushes for it to clean carpet, seats, etc. it’s also a time saver to clean tires prior to coating. Get a 3 inch backing plate and use it to get to hard to reach spots. For $120 the PC can do a lot of jobs very well.

I hadn`t considered that (did consider the 3" pads) as I`m spoiled by how brushes work on the Cyclo. They must be OK (or better) on the PC or nobody would bother using it for that.

Although in this case, I think phatkid77 is gonna be better served by the Boss15, and I don`t think we could`ve convinced him to have both.
