I take one full scoop of OxyClean and pour into 1 gallon jug with DI water and pour right on to matts, you don't have to vacuum them if you want, I don't, saves times. Then scrum them down and pressure wash them. Then just pour the rest into spray bottle and spray carpet (after vacuum) scrumb it and shop vac out. I still haven't come across a stain that has not come out. Don't use expensive enzimes or costly hot extractors, what a waste of alot of money, just plain cold water, Martin

Martin,
How long does it take for the mats and carpet to dry out? do you use and air mover to speed the drying process

After I wash matts, I take a stiff brush and rake the nap so it lays down nice and pretty, then turn the brush around rake it down with the hard side and it acts like a sqeegee. Then I hang them on the side of the trailer and start the wash on the car. The carpet, spray, more like mist the carpet, scrub it down and suck out. Then I finish off cleaning dash, glass, door jamms and by that time the carpet is dry. Then suck out remaining moisture out of matts and drop them in. The surprising thing is that after completely dry after about one day, the interior has a sterile smell, like in a hospital. Clients love that.

Nice job on that interior but why do people let them get that bad in the first place? That front passenger seat is so bad I wouldn't even want to sit on it. How can someone drive around in a car that other people couldn't even sit in? Nice job on the car.

Some people are complete SLOBS !

Martin u are the Man!! I could use a few more of your marketing tactics the flyers on windshields did okay but still looking more more/different Ideas

Very impressive. I haven't had luck that great with Oxy, although I think I'm missing the vitaile power washing step.

Looks awesome Martin. Looks like it saves time. Although I have spoiled most of my clients. They like the extractor marks in the floor mats and they don't like wet or even damp mats. What a bunch of yuppies.....lol

I use the upholstery attachment from my Bissel BGCM with the 1.5" hose on my shop vac...it works awesome in extracting the water from interior carpets and seats Upholstery Attachment

hey that system is good!!!!
great job
Besides floor mats what about the actual carpeting in the car if it's bad
can you this technique and how?
or is there something else you can use?

I've used Oxy Clean once, and I guess I should start using it some more. The results do show the cleaning ability of this stuff on carpet.
Don- I have the same attachment but I have an older Craftsman Shopvav that has a big hose so I can't use with it. I tried a mini shopvac but that has way less sucking power. I've been looking for an attachment because I've used it with the BGCM (not a lot of suction either) and really liked it.

That's too bad. Mine came with both the larger and smaller hoses.

Budman...try this adapter...Home Depot has other sizes as well....

Hose adapter

So, I gave it a try.

Here is the before:

Here is the after, comparing the OxiClean recipe above (on the right)
to the more expensive and generally good carpet cleaner (on the left),
using about the same amount of pressure:

The result isn't as dramatic up close (in difference between the two),
but OxiClean with the pressure wash really did it.

Inside the car, though, is not as good.
The OxiClean took a while to dry, and wasn't as impressive,
having about the same result as the foaming carpet cleaner.

On mats, though, I'm sold.

Thanks for the link Runnerbl. I really have to try this method on the mats and somehow find a way to get them dry in a decent amount of time because its almost fall in NH and the sun isn't that strong anymore... hmmm
