list me the most agresive combos you know

someone i talk to over the internet is having big problems polishing a repainted car, he has flatted the orange peel and finished up with a 2000 abralon

he tells me he cant shift the flatting marks with a wool pad and farecla's total dry compound

i dont have much experiance in wool pads and very harsh compounds

could you list some readily available stuff that he might want to consider...or any tips for rock hard paint?

im not sure that he did conisder that, but i would have thought an agresive combo should handle properly finished 2000 marks

ive polished 1200 marks out with foam cut pads reasonbly easily in the past

How easily you can take some mark out is dependant on how soft/hard material is, not on size of mark. 600 grit scratch in cookie dough is going to be much easier to remove than 4000 grit scratch in diamond (yes, I know it is gross exaggeration, but I am sure it illustrates well what I mean).

That being said if I was him I would step up to 4000 and only then try polishing again.

Power Gloss with Edge/Presta Black Wool is really aggressive. It feels more aggressive than HTEC to me, but I have very limited experience with HTEC.

Sythetic cutting compound and a synthetic cutting pad will get cha where ya need. Followed up with a wool pad and a cleaner wax. Finish it up with the foam pads and polish of choice.
