This is my friend's car. About a month ago he did 3x Zaino Z5, 2x, Z2. A day later, S100'd it. Today he brought it over and I got out the liquid Souveran and we went to work.

- Wash with Eagle One WET, dried with waffle weaves

- Liquid Souveran applied with a black finishing pad on 3

- Hi-Temp Grape on tires

Enjoy!

looks good. must be nice to live where there is no snow. those are like super high performance dry pavement tires on there and they look sweet :xyxthumbs

sigh...miss my '96--

AWESOME CAR!!

Yeah, that thing pulls pretty nicely. Especially with the 4.33's he has...

It ran 14.1@101 in ~85 degrees with a 2.1 60'.

Beautiful work Matt!! :xyxthumbs

That is an insane gear ratio to run on the street...even for a modular motor!!

What is this? Liquid Souveran weekend? :) Seems like everyone is usin it.

:LOLOL...I said the same thing to myself!! I know the reason I used it this weekend was solely because my friend wanted to use my paste on his car and I wasn't feeling that generous!!

Meh. I ran a 14.68 @ 100 mph with a 2.56 open rear end full exhaust and street tires in my Chevelle, which at the time had a GM Targetmaster 350 (the 8:1 4 bolt main stock replacement engine) with a Comp Cams 268H, 041 fuelie heads, Edelbrock Torker intake, Holley 650 double pumper and B&M Holeshot. I went through the traps at 5800 rpm in 2nd gear! :p

Of course, going with a 4.11 posi rear end, Comp Cam 292 Magnum, Holley Strip Dominator, 700 double pumper and Hughes 4000 stall converter made it a tad quicker (12.84 @ 108!) but I also got 6-7 mpg in town and 9 mpg on the freeway.

I am sure even with 4.33s, the 'Stang does significantly better on gas and probably has a/c to boot! I'm sure it stops better than my Chevelle and its horrible front drum brakes did. :(

Anyway, the Mustang looks great! Beautiful hood shots!

990 miles from Phoenix to Dallas, 114 gallons of gas at 60-65 mph. 60 mph was 3400 rpm.:shocked

I still miss being pushed deep in the seat when you nail the throttle. :(

Since you guys are posting times....:o

10.60 @ 129mph.....and it drinks about 1 gallon per 1/4 mile!:D

Actually, the car is capable of running high 9's but I only have a 2 bolt main block in it right now and I don't want to hurt it. The 10.60 was run with only 8lbs. of boost

Yep, Vortech supercharged. It's a T-trim with cog pulleys. I only have it set up making 8lbs of boost, but with the pulley I have in my toolbox it's capable of 20+ psi :shocked

Yep, that's why I haven't used it yet. I'm already pushing 600-650hp with the current setup, so I'm already on the ragged edge.
