Anyone have tried Liquid Glass before? I thinking of trying it but it will cost me bout RM120.00 convert to my country currency + shipping cost. So just wanna ask you guys if its worth it...? Thank you kindly. :bow

I'm looking for a wax / sealant that its shine will last longer. I'm using Megs products at the moment but its shine doesn't hold up very long. Thank you.

Hi BigJimZ28, oh I didn't know tht its an old product. I'm sorry coz over here our country doesn't have this brand. But it would be a good item if it would stand the test of time rite. So what to u think its good. Other than Zaino of course. Hehe. :)

I've been a fan of Liquid Glass for many years. However, I'm sure it has had some recent reformulation as there are two things I've noticed since buying my last can. First, last spring it seemed to attract ants like crazy. I temporarily switched to another product and the ant problem went away. I went back to Liquid Glass in the fall and I guess due to colder weather, I haven't seen as many ants.

Secondly, the last can I purchased does not seem to protect as well as previous cans did.

I plan on trying something else once I use up my present inventory.

Which Megs products have you tried? There's a big difference across their product line. Can you buy other products such as Duraglass or Colinite? Finish Kare is another line with good durability, but you'd have to order from the US for sure with them. To maintain the shine you can also try using QDs or spray waxes to boost the wax between applications. Duragloss Aquawax is a good wax-as-u-dry product or it can be used as a regular spray wax.

I really don't know what products you have access to in your country.

LG is a pretty old school product, but not necessarily a bad product. It may have gone through some updating, but it is a very old formula based on silicon polymers and has been around for decades. It is somewhat more durable than the average carnauba and gave a very reflective shine (not much warmth going on with LG). As far as modern sealants go, there are simply much better alternatives that last longer, protect better, and give a better appearance (at least to me). LG is kinda like an AIO (although somewhat less in strength), in that it has cleaning proterties, and therefore it will not layer either.

LG is very similar to Finish First as well.

SilverSeven,

Living in South Florida, USA with the heat and humidity, I can tell you that if you're looking for something that's really durable and still looks good (and easy to apply/remove), it's really hard to beat the Collinite products, especially 845. I am very familiar with the weather in Malaysia. Every time I step out of the plane at KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport), the heat/humidity hits me like a punch in the gut and just sucks the wind out of me. Cars in the open really bake and the weather is just hell on LSPs when you take into account the acid rain, the smog, and even on occasion, the dust and volcanic ash floating over from Sumatra. Anyhoo, if you can get it, Collinite gets my vote. Incidentally, I will be in KL again this November and will be happy to transport over some Collinite although I'm not sure you want to wait that long! Feel free to PM me if you like.

Thks TigerMike for the info. I am currently interested in Klasse Sealant. Not the AIO. Again thks. :)

What you are really interested in is Werkstatt, which is an updated, nanotech acrylic polish and sealant system. Definitely as durable as Klasse but easier to use and a deeper, wetter gloss.

Which is better Klasse or Liquid Glass, Chicago Il here. And do you need to put down a coat of wax over Liquid Glass?
