um, you have to use the pre-clean on the whole car very throughly. so thats why i am asking if 8oz is enough

8oz is plenty, that's why they sell it in a small bottle. If you use more than 2 oz, you are doing something seriously wrong. 1 oz is more like it, as Dsoto said, one bottle should do 8 cars.

one more question, would it be better to clay the car first? if so, should i use the spray wax with it anyways? because the whole point of the pre-cleaner is to take the wax out...

Really your call, the pre wax cleaner is designed to remove contaminants, previous waxes, etc. Claying will help to get the bonded contaminants. The spray wax is suppled only to use after claying as it strips the wax. This will be unnecessary as you will be applying Liquid Glass as your LSP.
