Lint in MF after wash

My procedure is put the MF in a 5 gallon bucket and let it soak with MF restore. Then put it in rinse once, then dryer. When I use it for removing wax, there are bunches of lints. WHy?

Could be a bad batch, you might have to boil them, no not a joke either.

are you washing a bunch of other different mf towels together?

Are you actually using a washing machine? As Al asked, are you washing with other types of textiles?

Eh.. some of my previously-OK plush MFs are linting something awful now. Just wearing out and shedding fibers I guess.

Yes, I do wash them with my other MF towels. I only use 2 types. One is Multi-purpose MF. And the other is the Plush type on side and the other side is regular. I mean you can't see the lint until you use it on the paint.
