Lighter Fluid Safe for Paint?

So I recently debadged my car and I had to use some lighter fluid (I used literally a drop) to get off the remaining adhesive, where Goo-Gone failed to remove. Now at a specific angle and lighting you can see the area where the badge was removed is hazy and cloudy..which may be from rubbing the area too much with clay and MF or from the lighterfluid and goo-gone...

How can I remove the hazy residue? I also still have a little bit of extremely stubborn leftover adhesive from the badge. Any suggestions to remove that?

i used 3m adhesive remover. safe for paint and then followed by a quick once over with the PC. but my car was 2 days old. some times the paint will look different if its been say years that have gone by and then tried to de-badge. as in when buying a used car

What's the best way to remove the hazing?? Could it be thousands of micro marring or just hazing? I used a quality MF and my clay was lubed...I rubbed it down with ScratchX after but apparently that didn't do the trick.

Fading of the paint is not the problem, the paint in question is only a year or so old.
