How do you apply Aquapel/Rain-X etc. to your windshield with the wipers lying dormant below the hood? I'm pretty sure the wipers shouldn't touch the glass before it is buffed clean. Some Mercedes do this too, but they have a "winter mode" letting the wipers rest higher and you can raise them. Yes, it is a foolish and petty question, but one that's bugging me nonetheless.
