Hello everyone,
after doing a ton of lurking, searching, and talking to members, I have made myself a very confused detail hobbyist!
I recently bought a 2001 Lexus IS300 with a Charcoal Grey Metallic. (Graphite Grey Pearl) This can be found on the Tundras and other Toyota and Lexus models throughout the years.
I am currently working on imperfections in the paint with IP and a orange cutting pad. I am slowly removing a lot of the paint imperfections and will be ready for the next step.
I wanted a recommendation for a polish and then something to seal if off with after that will really make the metallic flake pop.
I have heard of a TON of different combinations, and I just wanted to hear everyone's opinion and personal experience with a paint type similar to this.
I don't mind reapplying a product every month or two as I love doing it, so durability is not an issue. As long as it does a good job protecting the car from the elements in between applications I will be happy.
Thanks, and thank you all for the informative posts I have been able to read!
