2009 Lexus IS250. The car was in really good shape, owner takes great care of it. He'd had it detailed once at the dealer, wasn't really happy with the results. His neighbor is a customer of mine, gave him my name so he thought he'd give professional detailing another shot.
It was very clean when we got there, he generally washes it himself, waxes it with Mother's (not sure which one) so the paint had good slickness but it looked flat. Couple of bird bomb etchings were too deep to remove but pretty much everything else came out in one step. Got to love well cared for and relatively soft Lexus paint for an easy day!
ONR wash, Optimum nano-skin to clay
Optimum Hyper Polish using an Optimum microfiber cutting pad and my Porter Cable 7424 XP
Optimum Opti-Seal to protect
Armor All on tires/fenderwells
ONR wash and wax at 32:1 to clean the glass
The sun was popping in and out when we finished and it seemed like the owner had things to do so I wasn't able to wait for consistent lighting. And this is a color that changes noticeably under different lighting conditions.
