Lexus GS400....From hack to perfect.

Believe it or not, this car is a 1998 Lexus GS400. Very nice car and way ahead of its time. They had a 300hp VVT-V8, RWD, HID's, Navi, and various other goodies. Not to mention they are great looking cars!



This one came to me looking pretty good until I got it in the sun/under the lights.

Geezzzz....I didn't realize I'd get so cut up for detailing a black car in my driveway. I guess I have to apologize for not having a garage.



I also apologize for turning the halogens off upon completion, I didn't realize I HAD to keep them facing the correct direction. After all, the sun is much more critical on paint than a halogen.
 
lookin good, did you find that Lexus clear to be hard, I see some remaining marring/deep scratches in the 2nd and 3rd "after" shots.



I also let out a slight yelp when I saw the microfibers/pad laying on dirt/ground.



Very nice reflection you got out of it, how do you like P21s 100% I've wanted to try it for some time.

The clear was on the softer side. The 2nd and 3rd after shots are the ones after just wool and yellow cutting pad, so there was some marring left. I didn't use 106 yet, I was just showing how well IP cleared up the holograms/swirls.



I have nothing but great things to say about P21s 100%, goes on easy and looks great!! Deep reflections and enhances the flake on cars with metallic paint. Looks excellent imo!!
