leaves on the windshield

Leaves get tucked underneath my engine hood when I'm using my wipers. This happens when the leaves fall at the center of my windshield and get caught by the driver side wiper as the wiper comes down.



What happen to these leaves and I'm wondering if these leaves eventually clog the drainage system of my car? If it does clog, do I place a stick down the pipes to clear the leaves?

Can't you just reach in there and grab them out? Use a tweezers if you need to. I did just that this morning



And your 6-series hood lifts up away from the windshield right? I would think the leaves would be pretty accessible.
