LEATHERIQUE - still the best?

I have had my bottles for many years, am now reaching the end, was wondering if there is something conquerable?

Guess my Q is "Best in what context?" I ended up giving mine away unopened to another Autopian as I decided I simply had no reason to/interest in using on my leather interiors. Eh, maybe that just means I oughta butt out of this thread :D

For what Leatherique primary purpose is for - which is leather care - nourish and care, cleans and conditions.
I have used it on the couches in the house and there were some areas that were getting stiff. It went from stiff to very soft in one treatment.

bcgreen- If it works for you then it works for you. If the leather in your vehicles is the same as the couches` then I`d expect it to work the same.

Conditioning coated auto leather is a, uhm...contentious topic where people say that things that obviously do work shouldn`t work.

I myself wouldn`t go through the Leatherique process unless I had an awfully good reason to do all that work and I`ve softened up stiff auto leather with much easier approaches such as as LeatherMasters.

FWIW I`m all about the stuff from Leather Doctor these days, but again if you like Leatherique then I wouldn`t knock you for giving it a try.

I`ve read about LeatherMasters but never pulled the trigger. Since you have said you have a good experience with it, I am thinking I might just go ahead I give it a try.

bcgreen- I`d hate for you to try something on just my recommendation, lest I end up wasting your money, but it *has* worked fine for me. I`m currently doing about half my vehicles with the Leather Doctor stuff and the others with either Leather Masters or Sonus, and everything`s going fine, but that`s just me and I`d feel a bit better if you solicited some additional opinions. There`s just *such* a YMMV factor when it comes to auto leather!
