Leatherique process question

Started using the Rejuvinator oil on my seats today...was hoping to get them done and let the car sit in the sun but "life happened". So now I have the RO sitting on them, no heat, and no sun in the forecast until Wednesday.

Can I just leave the car for now, and Wednesday let it bake in the sun to get the RO to "do its thing"? Or should I remove the existing RO (with Pristine Clean) and then repeat the whole process? OR should I just add more before letting the car sit in the sun on Wed?

Thanks in advance.

I actually went home, started the car and let the heat go along with the seat heaters and black plastic bags over the seats.

Also took a blow dryer to some areas where the seat heaters dont get to and all of that seems to have helped it absorb better. Tonight I will use the Pristine Clean to clean it all up and hopefully its good to go.

Did you take some before pictures? Let us know how it turns out.

I didnt, sorry. But I barely drive the car, so the front passenger and rear seats look brand new. The drivers seat was a little "shiny" in spots, so I know the RO will really help there (its been a year since I used the Leatherique system on it)

I might use the rest of what Leatherique I have on the wifes car....HER seats are in dire need of help since her car is driven so often. I will definitely take pics of those if I do them!

Just curious, but do you guys find that Leatherique helps reduce "shinyness" on seats? I tried Leatherique for the first time on a 2001 Mercedes E320 and was disappointed. But to be fair, it ended up being a cloudy humid day so it never got warm in the car.

My experience (3 times) with the full system shows that it does get rid of shinyness. However, 2 important points in my opinion.

I don't let my seats get too dirty and I use a tampico brush to really work in the PC on the clean up stage.

No experience with long term shiny or otherwise dirty leather. To be honest, then I would go to my trusty APC first and then apply the system.
