Leather treatment: Megs APC+ and Leather Masters

After being surprised by the amount of dirt that came off my 97 4runner seats using APC+ (10:1), I decided to go after my wife's 2004 GX470.

These seats have been cleaned by me many times with leather cleaners and a microfiber towel. I didn't realize how dirty they still were until treating my 4runner. So I came after these seats with Megs APC+ and a stiff brush.

Before. Normal cracked, old seats (95k on the car), no hope for them, right?:

Here I have sprayed the seats down for a first time with APC+. The dirt is lifting and streaking around creating a muddy mess.

After agitating with brush and wiping down with MF, results of first cleaning pass. Where'd all those cracks go?

Still some dirt on the sides. After a second APC+ pass, more agitation, third pass, etc until clean:

Then I applied one coat of LM vital, wait an hour, another coat of LM vital, waited an hour, and finally a coat of LM protection creme. These are all excellent products. No greasy residue and no odor, which I prefer. My wife's comment was: "My seats feel clean, not slippery like the other stuff." Some have said to lightly buff after with a clean MF. That wasn't on my bottle instructions, and I did it anyway, but the leather had soaked everything up and there was no residue.

Sooo, if you're still searching for that odorless, non-greasy, matt finish leather product, leather masters is it. :bigups
