Leather Smell

Recently picked up a Grand Cherokee and the inteior doesn't smell like it was smoked in but definately has had air fresheners...

I'm really looking to rejuvinate the leather smell (i love it). I've been using coats and coats of Lexol, leaving it in the sun to not much avail.

I don't think those leather air fresheners smell like leather at all.

Did some searching and found someone reccomended Pinnacle Leather Conditioner but looking for some other suggestions before ordering

I like the way 4 star leather conditioner and Zaino z-10 smell, the 4 star smell seems to last a little longer and has a natural leather smell. Both products also give the leather a nice feel, not greasy or slick.

I heard Zaino leather in a bottle is suppose be good.

Just be warned about sonus leather conditioner. Its nice, but jesus it reeks.

Go with Chemical Guys Leather treatment. It has the best leather smell from my understanding. I've done a lot of searching on this lately; that seems to be the general consensus.

I use the Zaino leather conditioner (I forget the number) and couldn't be happier. I absolutely love the smell and the feel of my leather after I use it. I don't use the Zaino leather cleaner; for that purpose, I use Woolite 1:4 in water and it works just fine for me. Of course, I clean my leather seats at least once a month so I never have to worry about a strong cleaner being able to remove half an inch of cud from my seats so I honestly don't know how well my Woolite mixture would work if I had to tackle some really bad leather.

Griot's has the longest lasting smell of the products I've sampled. It may be too strong for some.

I'm using Duragloss Leather Conditioner and it smells like a leather store. Mmmm-aaaah. But it only lasts a few days.

+1 on the DG 221 LC. Plus it is cheap! Two sequential applications last for about a week. Pinnacle is still my favorite, though.

I use Z-10 and really like the smell and look. I wipe some on the top part of the dash and the smell lasts longer. Also I put the applicator under my passenger seat near the HVAC duct and when the AC or Heat comes on I get a bust of leather smell.

My cat likes the smell of it too!

LOL I'm so glad I'm not the only weirdo that does this.
