Leather or cloth?

Leather, easier to take care of, if winter, a nice lambs wool seat cover handles that, etc.

Have always perferred leather to cloth.

Depends on the Vehicle.

For cars that'll be driven, uhm..."seriously" I generally prefer cloth, ditto for something I'll be in for many hours at a time. For all-weather dog-haulers and pampered toys (now there's a divergent pairing!) I prefer leather.

Sorta wish the S8 had cloth seating surfaces with lots of leather elsewhere, if I were ordering up an exotic that's how I'd spec it.

I like the look of leather. I hate every other aspect of it. Too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter. PITA to care for, it eventually cracks. Good quality cloth seems to last forever. As much as I hate Saab, they had the absolute best cloth seats. Even cars with 150k miles looked like new.
