Well I just bought a 2003 Eddy Bauer Expedition. THis is the firt vehicle with leather interior that I hae owned.

What is everyone favorite product Pinnacle, Lexol, Eagle One to use on there leather.

I use Lexol cleaner most of the time but EO products are very good as well. I use conditioner only maybe twice a year and 303 Aerospace Protectant on regular basis.

BTW574,

Congratulation on the new car! :xyxthumbs

I have had great success with Griot's Leather Care. It works well and smells like leather too. After your car is about a year old Griot's Leather Leather Scent will keep your car smelling like new leather as well.

Mmm, new car smell. Congratulations.

I use Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Cleaner. Great cleaning ability and lemon scent. Does a great job on butt-buffed leather. To finish, I use Pinnacle Leather Conditioner. Great leather smell and once buffed dry, leaves a beautiful satin finish.

I like the Zaino Z9 Cleaner and Z10 Leather In a Bottle Conditioner. Makes the leather pretty soft, has a nice finish and smells pretty good.

I've been extremely pleased with the results that Pro's Leather Cleaner and Leather Lotion give me. I've seen their leather clean clean some pretty dirty leather and make it look new. I also love the smell of their Leather Lotions.

I now have a bottle of Meguiar's Gold Class Leather Cleaner and Conditioner but have yet to try it.

Anyone apply Lexol Conditioner on a new car ?

Will leather on a brand new car benefit or should I just wait till the leather actually get's *dirty* to start treating it

Well somce no one else has said it: Leatherique... I have switched from Lexol to it and there is no turing back...

ok, I sitll use lexol here and there...

Another vote for Griot's leather Kit:xyxthumbs

I have a question about the leather in the truck. It is clear coated according to my owners manual. Here is what the owners mauals says

Do not use household cleaning products, alcohol solutions, solvents or cleaners intended for rubber, vinyl and plastic or oil/petroleum-based leather conditioners. These products may cause premature wearing of the clear, protective coating.

Are all the products recommened safe for my leather?

How do I tell if a product is oil/petroleum based?

I just do not want to damage my leather by using the wrong type of pruduct.

Do a search on cleracoated leather and read some of the discussions, this should help make up your mind. You'll understand why I like 303 so much.;)
