so I've never had to really do any real work on leather before but my 2000 Impala is beginning to show it's age especially on the seats, and steering wheel.

Here is a shot of the wheel :

And here's a shot of the interior :

The leather is beginning to become glossy and from what I've read, leather is supposed to have a matte finish and not be slick and shiny. The leather itself is beginning to turn from the original gray, to brown. How can I clean it, and keep it perfect? I don't want to use the typical off the shelf stuff because from what I read here, it isn't good for the material.

I read stuff about this leatherique stuff being amazing, but I don't know what else I could buy / use , or how it's used.

My interior is the same color as yours. I went to Autozone and bought the Lexol cleaner and conditioner. Directions are on the bottle.

Both are very easy to use.

As far as OTC products the Lexon line is pretty good imo. If your wanting your leather to smell like leather again, and if you have a local Carquest, or Napa, see if they have the Duragloss Leather Conditioner #221.

Duragloss also has a cleaner, but I have found it doesn't do much cleaning.. At least not like the Lexol cleaner.

Hope this helps.

On really dirty leather, I like Megs APC+ 20:1. For anything else, Woolite 20:1. Leatherique is great for dried leather but it sounds like yours is just dirty.
