Learning how to use a buffer?

How did you people learn how to use one of these badboy's? I'm interesting in learning how to use it, but the concept of paintburns and such scares the hell outta me

Taught myself for both of them. Finally got the waffle pads for my rotary. Man, I wish I had them all along!

The best way to learn to use a rotary is through hands on expierence with a good teacher to show you the ropes. The key is practice, practice, practice and then practice some more.
