Hi Guys,

I dont know if its the time of year or what but i notice alot of my spray bottles seem to be leaking out of the sprayer when they just resting in the plastic bottles. They are all standing the correct way up, i wondered if it was heat or anything??

I turn the caps to closed or the "X" location but im still getting stuff leaking back out behind the trigger. Mainly this is with the Poorboys twist cap sprayers but also the Claymagic clay lube bottles.

I have resorted to pulling the sprayer out and shooting the fluid from the pick up pipe back in to the bottle. Seems to stop the problem but is a pain to remember. Esp. when you come back to find your work surface or product drawers filled with leaking products.

Any advice?

Thanks

Geoff

I have one bottle that does it, and it happens to be my Poorboys S&W. Annoys the crap out of me! So I went to US Plastics and bought their bottles with chemically resistant heads (same ones that CG uses) and they are absolutely perfect. Bought about 20x of them.

I guess you would need to change it into a new sprayer.

I have a problem with my 2nd Z-CS bottle. I've used it a few times, but when I do it leaks on my hands. If it stands up upright then no leaks, but I've notice if it's tilted or on its side it will leak. Damn waste of product!!

Yeah you need the chemical resistant ones. Or if the tube is removable you can take it out and tape it to the outside of the bottle when you're not using it.
