Leaf blower

I remember seeing Pepboys had a cheap leaf blower a lil while ago. Tell us how it works out. 30 Bucks is pretty cheap

This thing boasts a 265 MPH wind speed. It is 6.5HP vacuum too. I just got it today so while I tried the blower function I haven't yet used it to dry a car. But this thing is pretty awesome. Check it out.

I have the above model, also from Lowe's. It receives great reviews, and I'm certainly pleased with it...

I have a Stihl BR420C backpack blower which I've used a couple times to blow out water from seams and such. Kind of a PITA to use IMO but it does do the job. For me its just as easy to take the truck for a spin around the block; does the same thing.

I always thought that risks too much picking up dirt and other abrasive particulates but if it works for you ...

I have a gas powered unit and it routes a portion of the oily exhaust gas thru the air nozzle. You wouldn't have this concern with a electric unit.

100 cfm is really on the low side. I doubt that thing could blow out a birthday candle from more than a foot away. A good leaf blower from the hardware store is right around 350-600 cfm. I'd spend the extra $10 at Lowes for the 170cfm 150mph blower if you really want to go cheap. Don't expect to do much yardwork with it though.

I had that Toro and it was not fast enough. The Black one that blows at 220mph works great. I use it on my Porsche and VW all the time. It also helps if the car is well waxed.
