LC vs. Sonus Pads

Did a search on this and could'nt find anything(kind of odd)So what is the consensus. What are some good or bad experiences and what about durability?

Okay, finally found a few posts regarding this topic and it seems a lot of people were complaining about the LC pads tearing or "cookie cutting" because the velcro part of the pad was too small. Now apparently LC has fixed this problem which brings me to my next question.I'd prefer to order from a Canadian vendor since I am up north, so does anybody know if CarCareSmart or Eshine carry the new style pads cuz I know they both carry LC.Or is there anywhere in Canada I can get a hold of Sonus pads.Thanks.

BTW I love this site.I really learn a lot.

You should just email these guys directly and ask them. They'll give you a straight answer.

I have both LC and Sonus pads. My LC pads are 6" of foam, and 4 3/4" of velcro. The velcro seems to be attached very well. I thought the velcro looked cheap when I first saw my Sonus pads. But I guess I thought the same thing when I got the LC pads too.

I'm just a "normal" level Autopian, and haven't had a problem using either brand of pads with my PC.

I did email both,I just thought someone might know off hand.Anyway I already heard from Eshine and they still have the old style.Don't really want to spend money on a product that might fail.

I had problems with the early cutting and polishing LC pads, but I contacted LC and they swiftly swapped them out for the newer version. During the time I was waiting for the updated LC pads to come in, I purchased some Sonus DAS pads and loved them so much I never used the updated LC pads. This all took place 6-8 months ago.

i ordered the LC pads from carcaresmart, they also have the old batch but they will replace them if they fall apart, plus they were having a sale.
