I was told that this is a auto forum and I could not post pictures of boats that I detail. Since I detail a couple of hundred boats a year that was a bummer. Unless that has changed.

Rick

Isn't there some forum here where you could post? Hot Tub? I seem to remember you posting boats before, but maybe it's my imagination.

I don't know who said that . If you wish to post boats, the Hot Tub would be the most appropriate place, as the other forums pertain to cars.

I fixed your photos for you.

If you're going to post the boats, please include them only as attachments from your computer or use an independent photo hosting site. ( rather than the Autopia gallery and Garage, which is for cars) Thanks.

Thanks for fixing the photos Bill,

I was told by a moderator that Autopia is for cars only and asked me not to post pictures of boats. This about a year ago, so I just have not been posting in a while. No big deal I will just post them on my website and put the link in my post. We need to add a forum for boats since there are detailers that work on boats and motorcylces would be nice.

Cheers

Rick

Everything looks good. I wouldn't mind seeing more photos if you have some.

Always interesting to see boat details because hardly anyone ever posts them. What do you think of the differences in process when detailing boats?

You can look at a lot of my boats that I have detailed on my website www.detailscubed.com.

The only difference I run into on boats is the scum on the bottom and using a good marine grade wax. I have used some auto products (vl protect, polish, degreasers and etc.) on boats with success.

You have GOT to be kidding me.... this is a DETAILING forum, not a "car forum."

See, it's stuff like this that makes me think this forum can be a real joke sometimes. As detailers we are called upon to sometimes work on transportation machines other than just cars.

Oh, and if Autopia is cars-only, you better get that motorcycle you posted off of here, quick!! :hairpull

Hey Scott,

Yea, I got all the tar off. The looked good with that finish you put on. Hope you had a good holiday.

RLSPringer, When I was looking through your website,I noticed the boat called "Azzura". What a beautiful boat that is. What make of boat is it? Also what products have you used on it . It looks great. I have a 22 Velocity that I have been using Zaino products on for the last 3 seasons.Keep up the good work. Frank
