Latest Detail vs. Really Really filthy truck.

GlossyTundra

Tractor Detailer
This is my latest detail worth posting. I usually dont post ones that are regulars, only the really dirty ones. This 2002 Chevy 2500HD is owned by a local cow-farmer (same one that owns the John Deeres I do) that for some reason likes to have it cleaned every once in a while. I am an autopia, but I wouldent even bother with this truck, it's just going back in cow crap tommorow. Oh well, I picked the truck up at 6:00pm and finished around 8:00pm. Took more time to wash the cow poo off my driveway than wash the dang thing

My process was

Exterior:

Powerwash all the mud off the truck

Wash with Purple Power 5:1 in a garden Sprayer and a brush(yes I said brush!:soscared: )

Degrease wells/tires/frame/wheels with Purple Power 2:1

ONYX tire black on tires/wells/trim.

Duragloss Trim Dressing on winshield washer vent/mirrors/grill

BullFrog Fast Spray wax on paint/glass

Interior:

Vacume all dust/debris

Blow all dust/debris:chuckle:

Wipe down with Purple Power 5:1 on floor/dash/doorpanels

Dress dash/doorpanels with Optimum Tire Dressing (they were that dry)

Dress floor with Meguiars Hot-Shine Foam

Glass with IG

Before:soscared: :shocked :bolt

Nice work, but smiley faces like that do nothing but scratch and swirl the paint and if an detailer ever did that to any of my cars I would have him pack up and leave without pay immediately and I would finish it myself. (probably not a smart move with the smiley):dig

I don't think that the owner currently has the knowledge to do what you suggest JoshVette.

Great job by the way Brandon!

annnnd i don't think the owner would have really cared...look how dirty it was, that clearly went a while without being touched!

Not really. My F250 Powerstroke went from nice and clean to hub deep in wet clay in 30 minutes yesterday. I managed to track about 2 pounds of clay into the interior, not counting what stuck to my shoes. The truck in the thread isn't really filthy.

Besides, the DuraMax pictured is obviously a WT (work truck) complete with rubber floor covering. Theser trucks are supposed to get dirty!
