Hi Guys,

I have been dodging hail, snow and rain and weather about 4 degress centigrade trying to get my 14 month old Lancer detailed (only picked her up last week).

Haveing given advice and discussed alot on glazes recently i thought it was only right i showed a little worth for what i had been typing. I pulled out an old favorite, it mutes metalic but brings up a great wet look; Clearkote Yellow Moose Wax.

YMW, So easy on, so easy off, it your grandpa wants a great looking, wetness creating glaze but doesnt want to break his back getting it on and off this is for him :chuckle:

Mixed conditions, no befores as there wasnt much mess or time. Im suprised these turned out.

Ck Yellow Moose Wax

CK Nuba Moose Wax

The London weather leaves looking for the best results on the vertical panels.

What i love about YMW, as you can see is how effective it is on the making the bodykit look as good as the paintwork. It claims to "smooth" surfaces YMW and CMW are my to go painted plastic body mouldings.

The white dust around the red reflector was something from the dealers i have not had a chance to remove as yet.

Thanks for looking, i hope that shows another glaze options as it seems to be in the thing of the moment!

Not to be cynical or anything, but I don't quite see how that looks any better than off the shelf Meguiar's #26. Perhaps it is just the gloomy outdoor lighting that is less than optimal

It might not be! I havent used 26 in a long long time, im waiting for the sun to come out. :sadpace:

But this combo often produces wet finish with our compromising integrity of paints colour optics. 26 tended to darken alot more then i liked.
