Well, I've "detailed" my old rsx, but never used a buffer. I finally bit the bullet and bought a buffer, because the dealer put a shitload of swirls. The paint was fine when I test drove it. Then they detail it for pick up and wham ugliness.



Interior:

Z9

Exterior:

Wash with dawn

Clay

Wash with DP and foam gun

Z16 on wheels

SIP with orange pad (I tried IP with the orange pad, but didnt work too well)

FP with blue pad

Souveran X2 by hand

I really dont get how you guys do it so often. My back and knees hurt. I knew I shoul've got that bucket that rolls around

Bend at the knees, not at the back ;) You'll get more use to it. I did, quickly, and Im just a part time detailer, nothing like what some of these guys do in a week.

This the same Lance that was friends with Ryan with the supercharged blue RSX by chance?

BLSWAN!! I didnt know you were on the forums. You still got the M3, I thought you were getting rid of it. I've been doing good. Just trying yo find tiem to detail as work tries has me coming on the weekends etc.



I just got some swissvax in, so I'll be trying it out soon.
 
Nah...Lance, you know when I had the little Swan I had to seel the M3 and get the SUV...I bought an 07 Tahoe, but I might have to get something else soon...like an M5 or CLS63

ah. What products are using? I didnt know you were a detailing guy.
 
Lance...what you mean man...you know I kept my Cobra and M3 in tip top shape...I am about to try out the Ultima line...I purchased the Sampler Kit, but I used Menzerna polishes liek you have and many different waxes. My cars are filthy right now as they are putting a new street in by my house...its a total mess
