Lamborghini Super Leggera

Troy@Protekt

a.k.a. Troy@DetailCity
Well this week has been nice. Started with a Ferrari on Monday. Did the Lotus and Lambo yesterday. Did this one today and doing the F360 Spyder that's on the front page of my website tomorrow.:rockon

This one replaced the yellow F430 with the baby blue wheels. My customers have been buying themselves some early Christmas presents.:dnaughty

The paint was in decent shape but the car was delivered with crud built up everywhere like they buffed it and didn't bother cleaning up the residue.

Lots of carbon fiber and suede made for a unique interior.

Had overspray in places but cleaned up pretty easy. Just can't believe they would deliver the car in this condition. Just plain laziness.

OK let's here the comments. :yikes:

What can one say? The last few cars you've shown are beautiful cars and they've got the 2nd best detailer maintaining them (for Ron's sake). I agree with you on the part about letting a car of that value out of your shop in the condition you received it.

I noticed the gas cap as well, and obviously Troy thought it was a nice touch as well. :)

Hats off to you Troy, nice customer base. :bigups Did Sheila assist on that interior? That CF door just doesn't do it for me. :hmmm: Did you do anything more than a damp wipe?

I probably shouldn't even post this in the showcase forum. It's not an impressive turn around detail but I just wanted to share with you guys what I got to work on this week.

I like the white Lambo I did yesterday a lot more than this one. In fact, I didn't even really like Lamborghinis until I detailed that one.

There might be more pictures to follow. This customer likes to individualize his cars. Some of you might remember the baby blue wheels he had on his yellow F430. He also put unique wheels on the blue Rolls I posted a couple of months ago. I need to take some new pics to show you guys what he did to that one.:wow:

Tomorrow will be quite a contrast. I have a Ferrari in the morning and then a big black dually to do in the afternoon.:passout:

I know. No big list of what I did to the car and what I used. I think the most impressive job I will do this week as far as detailing goes will be the black dually I'm doing tomorrow. I might have the time and energy to take a bunch of pics. We will see.

As far as what I did to this car it wasn't that impressive. A good cleaning followed by 3 layers of sealant. Not that it needed all that but I used PB PwS on the FLEX w/White Polishing Pad. Followed by Ultima Paint Guard which works really nice especially on the flat black stripe on the side of the car. I love it for a lot of uses and that is one of them. I've also gotten in the habit of doing my final wipe down with Meguair's Quick Wax.

Meguiar's Hot Shine aerosol on the tires.
Stoner's Speed Bead on the door jambs.
Lacquer Thinner on all the carbon fiber. JUST KIDDING. :D
I did use Stoner's Tarminator to clean up the trim and gas door area as well as get some scuffs off the carbon fiber door panels.

The carbon fiber was everywhere. Lower rear panel, spoiler, front air dam, trunk lining as well as the doors. If it wasn't carbon fiber it was suede; Dash, seats, half the console. Thankfully not the floor though they still went with carpet there.
