Lamborghini & H2 Hummer

BAD PHOTO QUALITY...I AM STILL PROCRASTINATING ON GETTING A NEW CAMERA! :D

These two details are of my regular customer. I haven't done any work for him for awhile due to his very demanding schedule.

He's getting a new Lamborghini soon which will be the same color but different body. I'm not sure of the full specs.

I decided to try out a few new Ardex supplies I picked up from their shop. Ardex may be more on the commercial end, but some of their supplies are down right unbelievable.

The Lambo was in excellent condition as you may already imagine. So, I decided to go with a two step plan with:

1. Wash: Ardex car soap (can't remember the actual name, but this stuff is very, very good in all categories that you would judge a car wash soap, not to mention it is very economical - $10.00 for 1 gallon).

2. Clay (there was a few spots that had overspray but I decided to do the whole vehicle)

3. VM (By hand and applied with a clean MF towel and removed with a clean MF towel)

4. Topaz (Applied this LSP with a foam pad and removed with a clean MF towel)

5. Tire shine compliments of Meg's Hot Shine (first time using it and it is very shiny but very good)

6. Interior vinly was protected with Ardex Dull Away (This is by far the best interior protectant I have ever used! Smells terrific, has a nice matte low shine look, and very uniformed)

7. Vacuum interior & clean all glass with Stoner's IG.

Next up is the BEAST H2 black Hummer! :scared:

Same process as the Lambo minus out the clay. The truck is brand new and really wasn't that bad to do.... :D

There's alot of bling on this bad boy!

Whoa! That 2nd shot of the Lambo is unreal for a silver! I don't think I've ever seen that depth and glow before on any car.

I'm getting ready to do a 72 Ferrari Dino and is in the finishing stages of a mechanical restoration. Should be fun with a Red Dino and single stage paint!

Thanks for posting the pics.

That tire shine is *very* shiny...more than I personally like, but if the owner likes it, that's great.

Thanks everyone! :)

Topaz is a carnauba paste wax from Ardex. Gives a very wet shine, easy on easy off, but I haven't had the opportunity yet to test the durability. I will be starting back up maintaining the Lambo on a weekly basis, so that'll give me a good observation of the durability.

Dude! :bow

The silver on that Lambo looks miles deep! The H2 looks terrific too. :)

Thanks!

Once I was done applying VM, he happened to come outside, and he thought I was done based on how the car looked. Then he saw me about to apply another wax and his mouth dropped. :soscared: The main thing he kept mentioning was how slick the paint is now.

I've noticed that Topaz adds serious depth and gloss to any color paint.
