Lakle Country Tufted Pads

I haven't seen much mentioned about these in a while. Is anyone using these pads? I just bought my Makita and am looking for some different pads to try out.

They seem like a good idea, but I imagine they are only for those using a rotary. I love the 7.5" Curved Edge Pads, so I thought that these would be the next logical step. If anything, I'm just tring to figure out how to apply the product to the uneven surface.

Scottso,

I use these pads every now and then and they work great!

It seems they flatten out, creating a different type of cut/polish surface. Works best with problem finishes.

They also hold onto the product better, preventing sling.

I have both the cut and polish pads.

I use those on ss paint, they don't load up so quickly. The white polishing one works well with VM, seems to give it a little more bite than a "regular" polishing pad. They work with the PC, too, not just the rotary, but there's a bit of vibration due to their large size.

Wow,first it was a revived interest in the Cyclo, now I see one in the tufted LC pads huh ? ;) LC and its distributors are REALLY going to love us now! :D

Well, I dunno if they're gonna sell a whole bunch of those pads. I didn't really see any advantage to them with b/c paint. Sorta a solution to a question that nobody asked ;)
