Lake Country's D.A. Pads

We have reengineered our D.A. Pad lineup to prevent any "cookie cutting" problems that might occur during usage. Our loop now goes out farther to the edge of the pad so the backing plate cannot "cut " into the foam if polisher is tilted in any way.

Thanks,

Eric

Eric, they want to know if there getting the redesigned pad when they place there order, or will they be getting the current version (As shipped to me) until that stock is depleted.

Our stock is getting reduced, so when it gets to a certain level, we will be sending out the redesigned ones. But if there are any problems with the existing ones, you can email me at work. Thanks

I'd prefer to get the correct ones in the first place because I'm in Canada and don't want all the hassles of cross border shipping. e.g. I have an orange pad with that foam-cutting problem and I was told that I could send it back for replacement to Lake Country Mfg. However, after figuring out all the shipping costs it ended up being cheaper for me to just buy a new one.

I just bought some pads and I'd like to know if they are the new ones or the old ones, because it may affect my decision on whether to use these again (this is my first time with LC pads). The ones I just got (from CMA, sorry Patrick!) have a loop diameter of about 5.25". Is this the new or the old?

Eric, can you post some Canadian suppliers here for your products, like many here it took me over 3 days to find a local suppliers and even then they are not a retail outlet and require that I buy an entire box of a single type of pads and most of the time I have to shop in the US and pay the difference in exchange rate, customs and shipping costs. I mean your product should be available at most auto body supply shops, but unfortunately they are not !

Having many years of experience in the manufacturing of polyurethane foam, just what kind of foam does your pads use; 1.5lbs, 2lbs ?, do they contain any fillers to act as a cutter foam or antistatic chemicals ?

i think the old CMA orane pads are better & bigger than the ones that are out. Why dont they make these in 6.5"

when i called cma they said they only carry the small ones. I like the original CMA orange pads which had the black backing on them. It seems like the white polishing pads were way too small. If they were all the same size as the original orange ones that would be great. sorry im so anal about pad sizes but can you post a link to where i can get the 6.5" ones. all the sponsors that carry the new lc pads say they are only available in 7.5 & 6 please post a link thanks

So I have about 4 orange pads where their is the cookie cutter line around them from the backing plate cut in am I able to exchange these? without paying to ship them back?

If they do cookie cut, it would be at the edge of the loop on the back. I would contact the party you purchased them from and in turn, they will contact us. Thanks for using our products.

Eric, how do I know if I'am getting even LC pads ? is there anything on the package or pads themselves like a batch number ?

All I see on the plastic sealed bag is M300(yellow), M400(white) and M500(black)
