I got my pads from pakshak today. Again wonderful service! But I wanted to know if this is normal. I have some griots and they didn't have it. On the yellow cutting pads, I noitce that there is like chunks, well more like dust of the foam pad. It looks like maybe it wasn't cleaned off or maybe flaked off when it was shipped. I just wanted to know if this is normal and should I just blow the little pieces off?

I think it is normal, I have had it on a couple pads. Just be sure to wash them before use.

I put them in the washer same as my MF's
gentle cycle, Warm/cold wash/rinse, liquid "All" brand detergent

I have had that, it just needs to broken in, I just put up with the extra dusting but washing them before use sounds like a better idea.
