I have a bunch of 6.5" Lake Country pads and am looking at getting a rotary. I want to know if it is OK to use the concave pads. Does it make the rotary harder to use? Should I get some flat pads, larger diameter pads?
I figure I will start out with my white LC pads and some FPII to get a feel for the machine. I only ask as many people state that rotary requires only the weight of the machine itself which makes me think that a lot of polish will become trapped in the "polish pocket"
also, everywhere I look I only see rotary backing plates that support 7.5" and up pads. properautocare.com has a 6" BP but says not for use with their 6-inch pads.
Thanks!
