Klasse vs EX-P

For those who have experience with EX-P & EX I pose this question.

I am most impressed with Klasse's wet looking finish on my car. However removing it is not fun.

I recently started using Poorboys' SSR3.5, SSR2 and SSR1 and find they're product line phenomenal so far , for that type of work.

So i ask, from your experience what is going to give me a THEE more wet looking finish, Klasse or Poorboys EX-P or EX

I was not happy with WG Twins as my finish was super slick, but it left that "salad oil" finish which i do not desire. I tore it all down and re-applied my Klasse.

So your thoughts , experiences would be most appreciated

What color is your car?

White go with EX-P, Dark go with topped with EX. Either applied w/PC is awesome

I would use AIO to remove prior layers of product then go with the appropriate SSR based on the paint. AIO is a chemical cleaner

so AIO , EX-P .. okay there's one theory.. thank you.

But can you speculate or understand what I want from the look ?

no salad oil, i prefer the wet looking finish

no salad oil, but wet looking? for me the dipped in salad oil look is the "pinnacle of wet"! :lol

Experimenting is the key unfortunately, as my eye and your eye and everybody elses eye on here is different. Also colour plays a big part and also adds a realm of subjectivity....

I read a review on EX-P and one said that it gives the salad oil look to it, not a bad thing imo, but I do have yet to try it out. Almost every good picture i have seen with EX-P has turned out great, very clear and wet, that is why I am getting it.

I can attest that AIO + EX-P is great looking. My car has a bright shine and looks very wet. IMHO, it's the best looking combo I've seen.

After hearing the name spa yellow I am instantly jealous of you and your s2000 but my advice will go out to you nonetheless. I recently topped AIOX2 with a friend's Ex-p on a yellow wrx and I was more than pleased with the results.

Good luck.

If you want deep and wet, then go with the EX w/carnauba. EX-P has a more clear wet look but it isn't as deep as regular EX.

Does that hold true for white or black? It seems I keep hearing EX-P for white, but EX for black. Having both a white and a black vehicle I want to use just one product. I've been thinking of trying the VM and the EX or EX-P combination topped with S100. I was also thinking of Trade Secrets carnuaba wax. Any opinions?:D
