Klasse versus Pinnacle?

Just another reason to spend more money, I currently have been using Klasse AIO and SG on my Audi TT, but since it's a garage queen, what do you think about Pinnacle Cleansing lotion and Souveran Paste wax? Anyone actually used both before and what do you think about the depth of shine and etc. on a black car compared to Klasse?



Is Pinnacle similar and/or better than P21S/S100 GEPC and wax?

I've used both before. Since you already have the klasse twins on your car, I would just top with the souveran. You don't need to use the paint cleansing lotion unless you want to start over and just use the souveran. The PCL is okay, nothing special. I like AIO as a cleaner way better than PCL. If you top your klasse twins with souveran, make sure you concours your paint, and also use the crystal mist...
 
I've tried all these combos (PPCL, GEPC, SEPC, S100, P21S, Souveran, all mixed or not mixed with AIO) and they all look great. PPCL and GEPC are terrific light polishes. I much prefer them to traditional SMR's. And unlike AIO they have a little bit of abrasive in them so they'll take out some light micromarring when used by a PC.



It's hard to say which looks better or even be able to tell them apart substantially. For a garage queen the PPCL/Souveran combo is very rich looking while the GEPC/SEPC/P21S/S100 look is a little brighter.
 
Yes do a coat of the souveran, wait at least 24hrs and do another coat of the souveran. After about a week or when necessary use the crystal mist(you will love it). I would also clay the car before hand if you're looking for the ultimate...
 
I think that on black, PPCL/Souveran x2 is the best looking combo. AIO/Souveran x2 or AIO/SG x5/Souveran x2 would be a better combo for a daily driver and almost as good looking. Both are stunning to see. The good thing with the Klasse/Souveran combos is that the beauty of the car still manages to shine through even when the car gets dirty and it lasts a long time. PPCL/Souveran is as mentioned, is a beauty treatment.
 
The best result I ever got on my red Dodge Dakota was:



1 X GEPC

1 X AIO

3 X SG

3 X Souveran

Crystal Mist as a QD



This was the deepest, wettest shine I have ever seen. The pain glowed. I had people that were driving by me stop, and walked out of there cars to look at the paint. They were amazed that the truck is a 1998 with 120,000 miles. I now detail there cars

Perhaps I'm missing something. Please describe how one "concours" their paint? I'm assuming you just mean to wait about 24 hours in between coats... But what exactly do you mean by "concours your paint"?



I know someone else asked this already, but I'm a slow learner. :D
