Klasse Twins

I started using the Klasse twins on my 03 Audi A4 in 2005 after reading how to apply it "Correctly" from this site. It took a long weekend to get it right but once you master the wipe on/wipe off of the SG it's easy. Anyways...I went to sell the car this weekend and the guys at the A4 dealers were amazed at the paint. I parked it next to a 2010 Dolphin Grey A4 and my paint/shine smoke it. I purchased a 2009 A4 and can't wait to wash it with dawn, clay, AO and SG!!!



I thought I would share this because applying the twins twice a year has not only kept my car looking nice but it defiantly make the paint POP year after year. I'm sticking to what works and staying away from all the new products.Thanks for all the info I learned on this board. :clap:

Just buy the smallest bottles you can. A few onces of SG will do your entire car. I would do the wipe on wipe off method with the SG and just take your time. GL

I just purchased the twins this past week. I was running short on time this weekend so I only did the back half of the car (Sunlight silver Mazda3) and was amazed at how great it looked after only one coat of Sealant Glaze...it looks even better now with 3 coats. My wife even noticed a difference and she never really notices a difference when I apply wax, etc on the silver car.

While I'm not crazy about how it looks on certain paints, and I only use it on finishes I can get/keep more or less perfect, yeah...KSG is still a great product. Layered heavily, it's the most durable stuff I've ever used.



I find that the law of diminishing returns kicks in after four coats (to my eyes at least), but I've found that six coats is good for durability; you can always add a coat later without having to start over, and with numerous layers on there you can clay (very gently) with something like Sonus green and basically just "clean the KSG" as opposed to stripping it.



Refreshing it with the Sonus Acrylic spray works well, and I like to FK425 it after every wash.
