Klasse SG x3

I am layering the Klasse on my wife's SUV getting ready for the fall and winter. I would like to get about 7-8 coats on eventually.

Very slick, great job! depending upon the time between coats 7-8 maybe a little overboard, SG is known to be durable. I'd stick around 3-5 at most.

Wow...another great job...I'm always curious about what people used on silver.

Do you have AIO under the SG?

I'd say 4-5 coats of SG and a nice carnuaba topper (Trade Secret for that silver) and you will be knocked off your feet.

That thing looks awesome though.

How do you like it as an SUV in general?

Looks great. I use AIO and SG on my silver car all the time. Try topping it with 4*UPP it will give you the slickness that SG lacks.

Do you have to wait another week for the SG to cure before topping with carnuba? How long do you think the SG will last if I layer 3x and its a daily driver in sunny SoCal.

The SUV is my wife's. It has more interior room than the X5, FX, Toureg or Cayenne. The navigation and interior is incredible. It has a solf, luxury ride which is what my wife likes. She says that after driving in her Lexus driving in my M3 is like riding in a stagecoach. So far my wife is very pleased with this essentailly large station wagon, and I am hopeful we can keep it for a long time. We still have the 93 Volvo 940 which this vehicle replaced.

By the way, it is not silver it is "bamboo" which is a very light kind of silver green. This color is a breeze to keep looking nice. In the past I have topped the SG with P21S and I thought this looked nice. For now I just want to layer a lot of SG going into the fall here in Seattle.
