Klasse and Carnuba ?'s

I was reading some stuff on properautocare.com and they were saying to not use Carnuba over SG, to leave it out, but do top over AIO whats up with this I see most people using AIO, then SG and toppin' with carnuba. So does the SG have more sealant properties than AIO? Thanks:)
 
CMA says this because SG and carnuba do not entirely get along. You may encounter a situation where your carnuba smears on top of the SG producing an oily film that moves in the direction of your last towel swipe. This has happenned to me one time on a small section of my hood two summers ago. It wasn't even that bothersome to tell you the truth. And I'm not sure why CMA even mentions it considering many, if not all, klasse SG users top with carnuba and do not encounter this phenomenon.
 
AIO on its own doesn't last very like. In fact, as a standalone it's a real disappointment.



Many have used the routine: AIO>SG>favorite carnauba



People have been doing this for years with pleasing results. I'm not sure why CMA says it's a no-no...I haven't seen that and don't believe it's a problem. Try it for yourself and see what you think..that's always the best way.
 
I wouldn't go straight from polishing to SG. Reason is, the polish you use may have oils and fillers in it that will prohibit the SG from bonding to the surface. AIO will clean any oils and fillers and create a perfect base for the SG to bond to.



Also, the polish, depending on how abrasive it is, may also leave a fine brushed haze in the paint that requires the use of a milder polish to give the surface a uniform finish. AIO, in my experience has removed the haze caused by FI2.



AIO is a must. It is one of the best pre wax/sealant cleaners on the market. You'll be happy you used it.
 
Does Meguiars #1,2 or 9 contain alot of oils and fillers? I know these are mainly compounds except for #9, but is it normal for compounds to contain alot of oils and fillers? Thanks alot:up your help is appreciated!
 
I'm not usre about 1 and 2. I know 9 is their SMR and that does have some. But if the 1 and 2 are 'compounds', then I would definately recoo using a finer polish afterwards. Try AIO, you won't regret it.
 
AIO is relatively fast and painless to use anyway. I say if you have AIO you may as well use it just to be sure. :)
