Klasse AIO/SG & S100 Impressions from a newbie

I just spent like an hour attaching pics and typing up a huge long story about my detailing experience. But, the attached file was too big and I lost the whole post. So I'm pissed. :angry :angry :angry :angry :angry :angry :angry :angry

So, in protest of my failure in forum protocal, I'm going to make this short. Good news is, I like the Klasse twins and S100. I abuse my truck and they make it look good while I do it ;) The Klasse look is a little 'plasticky,' but time and S100 softened/deepened it a bit. Overall, A- in my book. Anyhow, I'll save my million opinions and crap for later cause I'm mad. But, check out the before/after pics...I also have a bunch more in JonnyOzero3's Webshots photos Enjoy fellas...

Very nice. I just got all the supplies last week and now it's been 50 and rainy here every day since. Sunday was nice, but it was only about 45-50 which seemed on the border for applying stuff properly. If I don't get another good weekend, I'll pull it in the shop at my work some weekend. :)

Haha yeah - after I put on the S100 it rained for like 24 hrs....happens every time! (hence my quote at the bottom). That was Sunday here in San Antonio. I have to say that with the Mother's Products I used to use, I NEVER saw water beads this huge - my tonneau had a couple that were almost the size of four quarters laying flat in a square...pretty cool. I think I took a pic but gotta finish the roll first.

Looks great. I think mine has too much orange peel to come out that good, but we'll see. Maybe this weekend; just heard we're supposed to see 70 on Saturday. :D

Jonny,

out of curiosity, which klasse sg application method did you use? Was it the new V2.0 method? If so, how did you find it to work?

And BTW, your car looks very beautiful!!! Good Work!!

Please elaborate on V2.0 :)

ps: thanks for the compliment too ;) I'm just hoping nobody is noticing the fender trim isn't detailed in those pics...shhhhhh lol

pps: here's a pic of the Klasse SG taking a beating :D

I have a lot of orange peel on the Tonneau and some down lower on the body panels, but its low enough to not be noticed thank god. Also, I have a TON of scratches, but unless you are close they are hard to see...thanks to Klasse; cause i have to admit its imperfection hiding ability is VERY good. And my paint has LOTS of imperfections (branch scratches).....

Sorry about that guys. I should have elaborated. Klasse V2.0 is the wipe on/ wipe off method I am advocating for SG. It involves applying SG in the same manner that s100 is applied. I've found it to be much easier to remove the sg this way. I'm not a big fan of the damp and dry towel method as it gave me problems a couple of years ago.

well in that case I am upset that my local V2.0 representative has not contacted me to inform and advocate this new stellar wipe on/off procedure to me! Heh - okay too much chocolate :bounce Anyhow, I will try that method next time - as I did have a couple spots that were hard to remove, even though I was using a very small amount of product (little 1.5oz craft bottle or so did the truck more than once).

c-mdx: thanks, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when people appreciate the hard work! :)
