Klasse AIO and Carlack 68

Thanks to Peter D on here I was able to Pick up a sample of AIO to compare against the Carlack 68 I have.

First impressions the AIO is Beige compared to the white Carlack 68. Neither have any real smell to them.

Divided my tailgate into two and used one per side. Both share the same consistancy, wipe on, and wipe off the same. They both share the same look when hazed too.

After removal to me both sides looked the same. I am dropping off some Carlack 68 to Peter so hopefully he will be able to give his impressions.

Cheers

Rich

nice to know, rich.

I found the grojet as easy as AIO to use too.

Havent done a side by side or anything, but could be an idea to try next time I do someone's car.

Well ex Peugeot in my case!!!!

Paul forgot the Groject is in the equation too. The AIO/Carlack behaved exactly the same, be intresting if the Grojet is just alike or identical.

I now have Carlack 68, Grojet 2000 and AIO... apart from slight colour variations, I can't tell any real difference between any of them.

I know I said I was going to do a little write up on how these three products compared, but I don't really see point... if you've used one of them, you've used all of them!

Rich,

I've used it on 2 cars so far. Found it to work just the same as AIO. Worked it in the same way. No problems at all.

Did my sisters with it and Klasse SG/

Mine had Menzerna IP, FF, Grojet and WG x2.

I know what you mean, not alot to say apart from they all do the same thing. It means we dont all have to go out and buy AIO/Carlack and Grojet to find it out now tho.

Im going to stick with my Carlack till it's gone now and not worry about the others.

I plan on using my AIO at the weekend with the PC.....will be interesting to see how it fairs after reading so much about it :)

I've now promised myself not to buy an more detailing products for the next few months, the gear I have now will answer most situations!

Paul, the dog in your second pic looks to me as if he's thinking........"that's a nice clean car, I wonder if the owner will notice if I just..............."

Nice to know you found the same. Nice work on the 206s.

Is your 206 China Blue? looking Good, im loving Wolfgang at the mo.

What did you use on the dog? :p

Nick

nah, he wouldn't dare, .

He knows better than to do something silly like that lol

Although I think he enjoys detailing, as every time the wash buckets and hose come out, he starts wagging his tail..... then goes to get his ball, as it's officially time to play fetch as I try to clean the cars!

Rich,

Yes, it is China Blue.

After doing my sisters car many times over the past year, It was friday that I really 'noticed' the paint on her car. I really liked the way the colour changed..... not really noticed it before, as I usually do her's then my fathers in one go, so dont stop to admire it much.

The dog nearly had some sonax wash, AIO and SG on his dog tag and final detail all over to keep him smelling nice.:up

Sounds like here, Sister brings hers to be done, Dad has his car and Van, and then my Nan comes asking me to do hers!

My experience differs to yours gents, I found that Carlack68 does not go well on the trim, whereas AIO goes fantastic on the trim, and glass in fact everything. But when I tried Carlack68 on trim it made those horrid white marks.

I must admit my test was confined to paintwork only.

When you say trim can the AIO be used on rubber seals etc like VM?

I think AIO can be used on on anything NON porous (so you probably should avoid the rubber stuff) its brilliant on the windows, bumpers, trim, mirrors etc. However, I found that Carlack68 on the textured bumpers and trim can cause that white residue that is a PITA to remove.

I hope AIO and Carlack is the same. Cos in my country there is only carlack 68 available. And the price is very good too in here

I have to say I didn't notice Carlack staining black plastic trim.

Yes, I did only find this on the one car, (then I only used it on one car) so perhaps it was something else. The next time I do my car, I will try Carlack68 on my trim and see if there are any effects.

ive just ordered some carlack on the basis its the same as aio and will not stain rubber/trim. only acrylic ive used so far is crystal glo? just want something thats not gonna take me ages to clean up if im a bit slap happy when polishing my wheels and so on!!
