I think I must be stupid as I tried to search for the following with no luck! What am I doing wrong here?



1. Klasse/AG comparison - ie are they basically the same product?

2. Bill North's Klasse application procedure



I ask this as 1) I can get AG easily in the UK but not Klasse so can I substitute AIO with Super Resin and SG with Extra Gloss Protection 2) if yes has anyone tried applying AG products in the same way as the Bill North Klasse method.



I've seen a number of people say that Klasse is the same as AG but has anyone got a definite answer?

~One man’s opinion / observations~

1) Autoglym is a polymer resin, Klasse is an acrylic formulation.

2) Search ‘Hall of Fame� Wipe on, wipe off or BillNorth

3) Autogylm push a “Car Care’ booklet that explains their application methods, very different from what’s advocated here.

4) I’ve never tried WOWO with either Autoglym product

I've used both. The Autoglym SRP/EGP (they may have changed the name of Extra Gloss Protection...) is that company's version of AIO/SG. Different compositions, but VERY similar with regard to results.



I use SRP and AIO a LOT, usually as a base for other products. The AIO DOES clean better, but not enough to usually matter.



I've done the wowo with SRP, espcially when using it on black trim (it didn't stain *FOR ME* doing it this way, but I still prefer AIO for this). Worked fine. I don't usually do it this way on PAINT, but I don't usually let it set up long either. It is a VERY forgiving product so I wouldn't hesitate to use it any way you want. Just don't put it on overly thick and you can take it off whenever you want. I've used SRP forever, and I've NEVER had any trouble with it of any kind, except for a few jobs where I needed a more aggressive cleaner (misapplication of SRP, IMO, just the wrong product for the job).
