Kits or here and there!

Hope I'm in the right place in this forum, new as of today. I intro'ed myself in newbie forum. Do alot of you prefer buying kits like with poilishes, pads, towels etc. or do you just get here and there? This detailing will be all new to me cause all I have ever done was wash and wax. Just curious if you do use kits could you recommend some?

I would recomed buying thingsoutside a kit. I bought a kit when i started and almost regret it now. im left with all these left over products i dont like. i would recomend buying induviudal things from diffrent companies. I have yet to find a bran that i like everything from and so i would say buy a few things from diffrent site and brands to see what you like. The last thing you want is to sped 300 bucks on a kit and hate it all.
 
I would also suggest buying things individually. You can build your own collection to fit your needs and likes that way.
 
I get sucked into kits all the time. Great deals, usually. Here's my suggestion.
-a kit or two to start
-find products at yard sales or borrow from friends to try
-when you found a groove, buy only what you need
-when you are really comfortable, start making yourself uncomfortable and trying new things.

I like the...

Blackfire clay kit
(the old Upp kit)
and that's all the kit's i bought..Humm maybe an AIO sg kit... somewhere
