This wash is also supposed to leave behind a mild protection, and to rinse spot-free.
Temp today was around 60*, with bright sun. I worked in the shade.
First, the product isn't really liquid. It is more of a gel. One capful equals one ounce, making it easy to measure. And when you pour out the capful, the entire volume pours out like jello from a mold, leaving none in the cap. Cool. There is a very mild fruity smell, but nothing worth noting. It's not one of those tropical products.
It sudses up well and is very slick. In many ways it is another excellent car wash, with excellent lubricity. It rinses clean and with extreme sheeting action. You almost CAN'T make it bead; surface tension is extremely low. Best technique is to rinse and wait. In about 2-3 minutes most of the water has sheeted away on its own. That's a pretty nice feature, IMO. It means less touching of the car with towels.
As far as a couple claims:
"Leaves behind a deep Carnauba Wax shine to protect paint between waxings", I don't know. I waxed the car right afterwards.
"Features optical brighteners to boost paint color". I couldn't tell. I was working in the shade, and the car always looks great.
On the third claim, "Rinses spot-free in hard or soft water", I give it aces. That's the big one. IMO the only way you would get waterspots after using this is by leaving the car in the sun intentionally.
Heck, I'd buy this car wash. It does what it's supposed to. It's better than the low-end stuff and as good as the high end stuff. It has a couple nice features to it that make me believe someone thought it through. Thumbs up.
