King Ranch Leather. What to use?

Hey everybody first thing in the morning I have a F-250 King Ranch and I was wondering what to use on the leather seats. I always use lexol cleaner/conditioner. Although I did take one of troys tricks and I mix my Lexol about 75/25 Lexol/PB TR. So I was just wondering if this would be okay. I know the dealership sells special stuff for this leather and will stop by if that's the only option tomorrow morning and hope they have it in stock.

As far as I was told..the KR leather condiitoner is made by Duragloss for KR...it is duragloss product #221....this was told to me from the parts guy at the dealership....here is a quote from the Ford forum also....

Buy it from the folks that KR buys it from - Duragloss. I bought a 32 oz bottle (222 Leather conditioner) for about 1/3 of what I spent for the stuff from KR. Just refill the bottle. It works fine and gives that natural leather scent. Duragloss makes a cleaner also and has some good info on the web site if your not sure what you need. The KR leather seats and the seats in the lariet need different products per the website research I've done.

That I am aware of the KR leather is non clear coated any good leather conditioner will work IMO...I've only done one of these and I used PB LS...worked just fine for me....cleaning is more of any issue than anything...has to be very mild cleaners...I used the Woolite and water mixture...however the one that I did was not that dirty

I've used several products. All stained and made me panic, and then cleared up nicely. Water is the big spotter, and don't use APC unless you have to. The black spots are not stains, but worn through areas (like car seat wear).
In this case, I do recommend using the Ford stuff, though they will look at you strangely if you order it.

Thanks for the reply's everybody. I'm not too worried about using anything strong as the leather is pretty clean. Since this car is scheduled in the AM I'm just going to stop by ford and hope they have it in stock and if not just go ahead and use the lexol. Sound good???

There are two fabrics, and one of them is pulled under the seat. Test first, then moved to the exposed test. And make sure the customer sees any damage on those seats first.

As PEI says try what ever you use in a inconspicuous area so that you can see how it reacts...however bare in mind that it will take some time to soak in so the initial application maybe darker or lighter but once dried will come back to the original color...or should..IMO any decent leather protestant will work..as long as you apply it even and buff after so that you can insure it

Just wanted to thank everyone for the replies and making it look like I knew what I was doing:rofl with those leather seats. But really they came out great with just using Lexol Cleaner/Conditioner, they just take some time to dry maybe about a 1/2 hour. I really do love those seats though. Anyways thanks again everyone and Troy too for some advice via PM.
