Kevin Detailed: Foose Stallion

So I have been planning on detailing my mom's car for about a week or two but, the time kept getting delayed due to other details. But, I finally got around to it today. However, I got started late so I only had time for a wash & wax. Be sure to give me c & c.





So heres the process in order:

Wheels

P21s wheel cleaner gel

Various brushes

Car washed

ONR & Microfibers

Car waxed

Collinite 845 Insulator Wax

While I waited for the wax to break down I,

Waxed the wheels

Cleaned the windows

Shined up the trim a little bit

Tires shined

Then I took off the wax.

Yes that's my Mom's car! Yeah. I probablly took the most time on the wheels!

Your mom has great taste. I do not like about 80% of the aftermarket wheels that are placed most cars, because they never seem to look just right. Those Foose wheels take the Mustang up a notch in my book. I have a regular customer who put those same wheels on his wifes 06 GT, and lowered the car 2". The car's appearance improved tenfold !!! Nice job on the car, and I am sure that your mom is quite happy to have an Autopian detailer as a son !!!

Clean Dean: Yeah she is really happy! I hook her up with free washes and details. I mean what am I supposed to do? That's my mom. By the way, I'm only 15. I turn 16 in May!

Hey man, nice car, great job! What tire dressing did you use? It came out a little flat.

I used Adam's VRT. I didn't apply a thick coat though since it was my first time using it and I didn't know how it would turn out.

Too thick isn't good either; sometimes you have to go back and do a second thin coat after the first one soaks in.
