Karcher 2.38 + Karcer foam attachment

I picked this up from target since I was recently married and got a ton of target gift cards. At first I was a little hesitant considering it is only 1600 psi but I thought about what I would use it for. Nothing heavy duty enough came to mind that would need a ton of pressure. All I wanted was something to use as a foam gun and something to clean off the patio furniture at the beginning of spring.

After purchase I looked for a foaming attachment. I didn't really find anything that was budget friendly but came across the Karcher foaming attachment and since it was cheap I ordered it up. When you buy the higher end foam guns you are getting what you pay for but in this case I think it turned out ok. The foam was a little more watery than I would like but for what I paid I can handle it. Considering it is used to bring up dirt and carry it off I think it does that just fine. I tried it quickly before the weather turned bad on my wife's car just to see what it could do.

Oh, I used DP extreme foam formula with it as well. Don't remember what the ratio was but here are the pics.

if you want a foam cannon, you should jump on the one from AG. it's already on sale for $99.99 (regularly $119.99) and with the " shop15 " code (expires in a day or less), you get an additional 15% off and free shipping (it applies to orders over $75) which would bring it to $84.99 to your doorstep...

Thanks to BigAl3's help the other day I'm ordering one from Autogeek right now. $84.99 with the discount and no shipping. To the OP, thanks for posting the picture of the Karcher foam gun - I was curious how it worked when I thought the foam cannon wouldn't work on my machine.

We need to find a deal on a digital camera so you can take pictures of your set ups! :up

I would also say to work on your dilution ration as well. That is pretty runny and not really the optimal consistency you are looking for to work best with. It should be sitting more stiffly on the surface. Hard to describe, but watch some foam cannon video and you will see what I am talking about.

the foam attachment canister is probably about 6 oz. Do I need more extreme foam soap and less water?? Is there anything else that I could add to the ratio mix to help with the foaming action?

I have a similar set-up, it works well once you figure out the soap/water ratio

I use ~1/4" of Blue Coral soap...and shake well before use...
